The management of 9mobile has apologised to Nigerians over the recent service disruption experienced in parts of the country, while attributing the disruption to multiple fiber cuts and damages to its network infrastructure in some parts of the country.

Recall that social media was awash with complaints by 9mobile’s customers over a prolonged network outage that is keeping them from making or receiving calls.

The telecoms operators experienced network downtime, a few hours after the announcement that the mobile network provider has been acquired by LH Telecommunication Limited, a new investor, with the intention of transforming it.

According to its customers, the network outage that started on Saturday persisted until Wednesday.

In its response, 9mobile, in a press statement, made available to LEADERSHIP said, “As a business, we understand the frustration and inconvenience that this disruption has caused to connectivity and communication for our customers. We feel your pain and know what the disruption means for you.
