A former Special Adviser to Ekiti State Governor, Wale Ojo-Lanre, has berated a public commentator, Abu Najakku, over his open letter to President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The open letter which was published in April with the title, “Letter To Tinubu: The Atiku Badugu Matter”, criticised the nomination of Atiku Bagudu, the outgoing governor of Kebbi State, into the Presidential Transition Council by Tinubu.
Najakku described Badugu’s nomination into the presidential transition council as “troubling and dangerous for our country”.
But, reacting to the attack on Governor Badugu, Ojo-Lanre described Najakku as a failed politician trying to pull down the governor at all cost.
He alleged that Najukku schemed his way very hard to be appointed as Special Adviser Media and Publicity to Governor Bagudu but he failed in his duty.
“Over the years, he has turned into a digital mad dog, rabidly going on the rampage
insulting highly placed personalities and trying to impugn their hard-earned integrity and credibility
“He has consistently in his stupidity and foolishness attacked Atiku Bagudu on the Kebbi WhatsApp group, Kebbi Development forum, dragging the forum’s name into the mud and detracting from its purpose of promoting development issues concerning the Kebbi state,” Ojo-Lanre said in a syndicated article.
He further praised Badugu, saying he is one of the millions of party stakeholders who contributed to Tinubu’s victory at the poll.
He challenged Najakku to come back home and retest his popularity at the polls while stating that Tinubu does not need him to tell him who to entrust with responsibility.
