The Arewa Youth Assembly has endorsed the candidature of Senator Godwin Akpabio for the position of Senate President and Senator Barau Jibrin as the Deputy Senate President of the 10th National Assembly.

They made their stand known in the wake of the All Progressives Congress (APC) adopting Akpabio and Jibrin as their choice for the top legislative offices.

“There can never be a better choice, as such all Nigerians should rally round and support these candidates to victory” leader of the Youth Assembly, Hon Musa Mujahid Zaitawa, said.

He added that the group advocates for good and all-inclusive government , therefore all the senators elect and returning senator should rally round Senator Akpabio from South South and Senator Barau Jibrin form the North Western part of the country.

“This is more important because our president elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu requires a working and understanding team to work with for Nigerians to get the much desired dividend of democracy our people are carving for.”
