Sanwo-Olu Restates Commitment To Digital Economy

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has said his administration would build a 21st Century digital economy for the state through technological advancement.

The governor stated this when he commissioned the Ikeja Towns Square complex and unveiling of Herdeberg Speed Master cx104-5 colour units as part of the 11-day programmes lined up for the inauguration of his administration for the second term tenure.

Sanwo-Olu said he was delighted to stand at the historic event packaged by Lagos State Printing Corporation, Lagos State Building Investment Company, (LBIC) Brickshomes Integrated Limited and Heildelberg for the wonderful partnership that produced this edifice.

The governor who was represented by the special adviser on works, Engineer Aramide Adeyoye, applauded all the people that worked on the project for ensuring that International best practices were applied and necessary building approvals and standards were met.

He said the edifice would boost the economic values of state businesses and also enhance the ecstatic value of other properties within and around the place.

“Lagos Printing Corporation holds a special place in the heart of our administration in Lagos, especially because of its peculiarity to all our daily activities. The Heidelberg Speedmaster CX104-5Color unit represents the pinnacle of innovation and engineering excellence.

“It has the capacity of printing over 16,500 copies per hour; this state of art colour unit incorporates cutting- edge technologies, precision engineering and advanced features that will redefine the standards of print quality, speed and efficiency” the governor said.

Also speaking, the general manager of the Lagos State Printing Corporation, Hon. Kolawole Peregrino, said the governor’s THEMES agenda of making Lagos a 21st Century economy which focuses on creativity, innovation and development was committed to ensuring that Lagos State Printing Corporation can compete with its counterparts across the globe.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Peregrino said  this had metamorphosed to the official unveiling of Heidelberg Speed Master Cx 104 – 5 + L color unit, with a high tech quality that can print over 16,500 copies per hour.

 

 

 

He said the technology was the first of its kind in the state and Africa thereby confirming Lagos State readiness to remain relevant in global ranking.
