Bayero Paediatric Hospital To Resume Services

Kano State governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf has assured the resident that the Hasiya Bayero Paediatric hospital will resume work in a fortnight as he has directed the state health commissioner, Dr Abubakar Labaran to work round the clock to ensure the smooth restoration of the health centre.

This was contained in a statement signed by the spokesman of the governor, Hisham Habeeb and made available to the media yesterday.

Yusuf, who received the Emir of Gaya Alhaji Aliyu Ibrahim Abdulkadir during a Sallah homage said  his administration would  ensure  implementation of free maternity policy in the state.

The governor also reiterated his regime’s commitment to refuse evacuation and management and  expressed concern over sanitation  in the state.

He also tasked his cabinet members to liaise  with the council chairmen in the various local governments in finding out critical issues adding that his government is not pursuing any vendetta but working towards the  progress of Kano.

He challenged his critics to keep records of his work and judge him after he has finished his tenure and wondered  why anyone in power could  take public property and convert it to personal use.

The Emir of Gaya told the governor that the Emirate had made a strong committee on vigilance to further strengthen security in the state.
