Stakeholders in the housing sector have expressed satisfaction over the launching of Housing TV Africa as they described the development as a welcome idea and a good step in the right direction.

Some of the stakeholders who spoke said  this is long overdue for an organization who has for 25 years champion the promotion and development of the housing industry.

While speaking, a housing stakeholder Femi Orioye said “my participation in the Africa Housing Show in the last 17 years has empowered me and my entire family, including those I know who have testimonials of what the organization have done. This is no doubt the best news of the sector.”

Emeka Eze who spoke from Enugu, said “I must congratulate the honourable minister for housing as this is coming at a time he assumed position as the minister of housing and urban development.”

Akuku Helen who spoke from Ogoja said “we now have a limitless opportunity to own a house and get information about affordable housing and also enable us to separate fake developer from original.”

This is coming after a statement released by the CEO of Africa International Housing Show Festus Adebayo on Monday in Abuja, who said this is coming at a time we need more consumer education in the housing sector.

“Consumers need to know how to own a home, all over the world the role of real estate sector is very huge both in value and the economy. It is time to position the real estate sector in the right direction for those in need to have a limitless information of what the sector is all about.”

“For years now we have been in the business of advocacy, the truth is that, the job has just started. It is time to bring housing messages to every home.”

Though there is no paywall for access to the unique contents, the innovation is a deliberate attempt to bring consumers and stakeholders up to date with happenings in the housing and construction industry in the most recurrent and interactive manner.

“The platform will enable consumers of news and consumers of the housing industry to enjoy and contribute to what journalists do and for journalists to use their professional skills in producing relevant media content for the people.

“This innovation is meant to provide more quality broadcast and media content for everyone about the housing sector and built environment at large.
