Chairman of the Governing Council of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, Prof. Yakubu Isa, has said the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in the November 11, 2023 poll in Kogi State, Alhaji Ododo Usman is the the right man for the job and the candidate to beat in the contest.

The renowned professor of law described Ododo as a political figure with a stellar reputation, exceptional and outstanding leadership qualities and impeccable pedigree with total humility.

He stated that the candidate is a true “shining example of selflessness and prudence in the management of capital and human resources as well as public finances, who towers above other candidates.”

In an interaction with journalists in Lokoja, the state capital, Prof. Isa said developments in the state in the last eight years, had showed that Governor Yahaya Bello has transformed Kogi from a state then known for banditry, cultism, kidnapping, armed robbery and intimidation to a flourishing state with developments and improved economy with prosperity, which centered on youth empowerment.

He said theses feats led to the emergence of Ododo as the APC governorship candidate and as the face of the youth, adding that “the youths are no longer the leaders of tomorrow but leaders of today.”

He pleaded with the people of the state to vote for Ododo, whose records as the former chairman of the Kogi State Youth Council, former special assistant to the governor and member of the Nigeria Youth Parliament and the former Kogi State Local Government auditor-general were without blemishes.
