The National Executive Council (NEC) of the Natural Oil & Gas Suppliers Association of Nigeria (NOGASA) has renewed the leadership of their National President Chief Benneth Korie, for another four year tenure.
The NEC in a meeting over the weekend voted for Korie to continue to pilot the affairs of the association for another four years.
Korie has steered the umbrella association of the oil and gas suppliers in Nigeria for the past four years, as the national president, the vote to renew his tenure for the next four years is definitely a vote of confidence in the man’s leadership skills and style.
Chief Korie has been described as a highly skilled leader whose well honed style comes from his years and wealth of experience in every aspect of the Nigerian economy- particularly in the oil and gas industry.
“He is an oil magnate whose meteoritic rise to fame is credited to his astute handling of a fast changing business environment and a rapidly evolving economic terrain.
“The man is a downstream oil and gas guru who is a Dean amongst highly placed captains of the industry-known as the leader of leaders for his considerate nature and influence.
“From the beginning of the association, he has skilfully guided the growth, development and expansion of the association from its humble beginnings to a position of being a household name in the provision of quality services nationwide.
“Chief Korie’s capacity covers every aspect of the supply chain and distribution of petroleum products in every nook and cranny of this nation. His encompassing influence goes beyond the industry and runs the gamut of communications, finance, logistics welfare, conflict resolution, etc,” the association said in a citation.
