They were; Oluwabusayo Olawale Ifonjala, Bolaqis Muhammad Sani, Musa Adesegun Badaru, Abundance Abimbola Adejori and Anas Abubakar.

This development was contained in a statement by the vice-chancellor of the university, prof Dilli Dogo in Abuja.

According to him a total of 1,251 students graduated at the school 11th convocation, of which 84 of them were awarded first-class degrees, while 45 of the 632 Post-Graduate students were awarded Doctor of Philosophy.

The university also honoured two distinguished individuals with honorary degrees for their invaluable contributions to society. They were Dr Muhammadu Indimi, the executive chairman of Oriental Energy Resources Ltd. and a renowned philanthropist, Professor Isaac Adewole, a former minister of health and a professor of medicine at the University of Ibadan.

Dogo said that the institution remains committed to providing a conducive atmosphere for students to thrive academically, personally, and socially.

He said the university is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and diverse community that values and respects everyone, irrespective of their background, beliefs, and abilities.

He also attributed the university’s upward trajectory, which saw it graduating over 1,200 students this year compared to 800 in 2022, to its admission into the Honoris United Universities in 2020.

He said the honoris network, which is the first and largest pan-African private higher education network, has enabled the university to benefit from significant investments in academic innovation, employability and student experience.
