In light of this tragic event, the university management urged motorists and motorcyclists to be more mindful of traffic laws and reduce their speed within and outside the campus. Olarewaju emphasized that the university cannot afford to lose its students under any circumstances and urged everyone to prioritize safe driving practices.

Furthermore, the management appealed to private car and commercial bus drivers to drive slowly on campus, adhering to speed limits and traffic signs. They hope this will prevent similar tragedies from occurring in the future.
