Imo PDP Appoints 6 Officials

Six months after the resignation of six members of the state working committee, the Imo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party on Wednesday announced six persons to replace the positions.

The new appointments are Hon Solomon Onwuegbuchulem now state secretary, Prince Macdonald Enwere the state Assistant Sec (Owerri zone), Barr Chisimdi Nwandu -state Assistant Legal Adviser, and Hon Ezeru Damian – vice chairman Orlu zone. 

Others are Lolo Ijeoma Domike – state Woman Leader, and Hon  Anozie Udenwa now state Youth Leader.

The meeting was presided over by Chief Charles Ugwu, who charged them to use their wealth of experience to move the party forward.

Recall that on June 8, 2023, some officials had announced their resignation and later joined the ruling All Progressive Congress.

They were Collins Opuruozor, publicity secretary; Ray Emeana, secretary; Greg Nwadike, youth leader; Martin Ejiogu, deputy state chairperson; Maria Mbakwe, women leader; who accused the gubernatorial candidate, Senator Samuel Anyanwu of assassination attempts and compromise.
