Institute Opens Entry For Essay Competition

Philip Asiodu Institute has announced a call for entries into the inaugaural edition of its essay competition in Nigeria.

The competition, with the theme: “Encouraging Patriotism and Nurturing Nigerian Leaders of Tomorrow”, is now open to secondary students in the country.

A statement signed yesterday by Chief Phillip Chukwuedo Asiodu on behalf of the Institute, said the competition aims to identify and encourage young talents while providing the winners with valuable mentorship and support in order to make a significant impact on the future of Nigeria.

It said, “The Philip Asiodu Institute is dedicated to nurturing and empowering future Nigerian leaders, among others.

“The competition is open to all secondary school students across Nigeria, who are encouraged to participate and showcase their writing talents.”

The statement added that the essay competition which officially start on the 28th of December 2023 is open to all secondary school students across Nigeria, who are encouraged to participate and showcase their writing talents.

According to the organisers, the essay topics will revolve around the theme of patriotism, exploring various aspects such as the importance of unity, diligence, integrity and discipline.

Apart from the recognition and appreciation received, the winners of the competition will be honoured with valuable prizes.

These prizes, he said will not only empower the winners themselves but also contribute to the development of their respective schools.

Additionally, the best essays from the competition will be published on the official website of the Philip Asiodu Institute, providing a platform for wider exposure and shared learning.
