Security Operatives Rescue Kidnap Victims In Kogi

Less than 48 hours after criminal elements kidnapped 21 passengers along the Ajaokuta-Itobe road in Kogi State, security operatives have rescued the abducted travelers.

The rescue operation was conducted by a joint team comprising the police, Civil Defence and vigilantes.

The victims had been taken to an unknown destination within the dense forest around  Ajaokuta local government area.

Upon receiving the report Governor Yhaya Bello directed both security agencies and  vigilantes to embark on immediate actions that will lead to the rescue of the captives. He said the perpetrators of this act must also be fished out.
