The new intakes will be in addition to the 2,200 candidates who have applied for the Pivotal Teachers Training Programme (PTTP) for the November 2023 to February 2024 session.

NTI state coordinator, Ibrahim Muhammad Yabo disclosed this during an interview with newsmen in his office in Birnin Kebbi, the state capital.

He said the management of NTI in the state had visited all the benefitting local government areas of the state to sensitise the targeted candidates for the admission into PTTP, NCE, degree and PGDE programmes for November 2023 to February 2024 session.

Yabo said at present, there are 2,200 students across the state for PTTP programme and the institute targets another 500 candidates for NCE, degree and PGDE courses.

He urged the interested candidates to login into the institute’s portal to buy the forms and study the procedures for the admission into NTI programmes.
