Three distinct heads have been sacked by the Kebbi State government for gross misconduct, fraud, insubordination, abscondment and partisanship.
The state government said their actions breached Public Service Rules (PSR) governing the local government administration in the state.

The dismissed district heads are Alhaji Lawal Yakubu, Mai Arewan Yeldu in Arewa local government area, Malam Ahmed Sani, Sarkin Gabas Geza in Dandi council and Alhaji Tukur Aliyu, Jagwadejin Bakuwe of Suru LGA, all in Gwandu Emirate Council.
Mansa, who briefed journalists on the dismissal of the district heads yesterday in Birnin Kebbi, the state capital, said their removal was in line with Public Service Rules (PSR) and section 1(63) sub-section 1 of the Kebbi State Local Government Law 2008.

He said the management of the three councils have lodged complaints with the commission on the affected district heads which necessitated their thorough investigation of the matter in line with PSR leading to their dismissal.
The chairman said after due investigation and consultation, the commission found the district heads liable for dismissal from local government service in line with PSR 030302 which is tantamount to gross misconduct, PSR 030301, movement without permission and PSR 030302 & 030407, dismissal.
