According to Argentine FA, the two friendlies against Nigeria and Cote d’Ivoire will be held during Argentina’s tour of Asia in China, which is scheduled for March.

Nigeria and Cote d’Ivoire are currently competing to become the next AFCON champions. Both countries have reached the quarterfinals of the competition.

The AFCON is set to end in February, but some countries already have plans to play more games after the continental showpiece.

Nigeria and Argentina are familiar foes. The last three times that the Super Eagles have made the World Cup, they were drawn in the same group with Argentina. However, Nigeria has always been second-best.
