Following the surge in crime and insecurity in Nigeria, the Lead Pastor of Revival House of Glory International Church, Apostle Goodheart Ekwueme, has said the country needs divine revival to overcome all the challenges.

He was addressing journalists on the upcoming Revival Is Here Again International Conference 2024 (RIHA 2024) with the theme: Breaking Forth Into Greater Dimensions, scheduled for February 21-25 to mark the 7th anniversary of the church.

The lead pastor said they had observed with sadness how Nigeria continues to slide in key human development indices, saying he was not a doomsday prophet but that things would get worse for many Nigerians unless they make an about turn.

“A definition of insanity accepted the world-over, is doing the same thing repeatedly and hoping for a new outcome. It is true; so by simple logic, it means that we have to change, if our circumstances will change,” he said.

According to him, it is impossible to turn a blind eye to the sufferings of Nigerians, and it would be wicked to stay silent, especially when the church has the mandate of revival.
