The general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has prayed against the forces of darkness against Nigeria and the emergence of a prosperous country.
At a two-day crusade titled: “Light up Adamawa” held at Ribadu Square yesterday, the eminent clergyman prayed against every form of confusion in the nation.
Many of the participants received deliverance and healing from different ailments at the crusade.
He also prayed for God’s blessings on Adamawa and Nigeria even as he showered encomiums on Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for the warm reception accorded him and his entourage.
In her keynote address, the deputy governor Professor Kaletapwa Farauta thanked God for His grace, mercy, favour, wisdom and protection upon His people.
She appreciated the general overseer for the wisdom and grace to host such a life changing crusade in the state and the positive impact he has been making on both the spiritual and physical life of the people.
Farauta urged for prayers for peace, unity and end to economic meltdown as well as improvement in security of the people.
Bishop David Bakare who took scriptural reading from Philippians 2:9-10 in a message, informed the faithful that there is no other name above that of Jesus Christ.
