Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Sokoto, Most Rev. Mathew Hassan Kukah will on Thursday, March 21, 2024 deliver the University of Calabar (UNICAL) 36th convocation lecture.

The institution’s vice chancellor, Prof  Florence Obi, disclosed this yesterday in Calabar during the pre-convocation media briefing.

She said the convocation lecture is titled: “Harmonising Diversities for National Development”, adding that it would take place at the University’s International Conference Centre, Calabar.

Obi said Kukah is an individual who had all his life worked towards the development of mankind besides rendering his services in the vineyard of God.

The VC said as part of the activities to mark the convocation, the minister of education, Prof Tahir Mamman and officials of the ministry would commission five projects executed with money from the Tertiary Education Fund (TETFund).
