The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has re-echoed his determination to birth a new Edo State that will engender prosperity for all Edolites if elected governor come September 21, 2024 poll.

Okpebholo stated this when he donated various food items to Muslim faithful across the three senatorial districts of the state to enable them to celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Fitr festival after the completion of Ramadan Fast.

The governorship hopeful, who made the donation in Edo North senatorial district, also appealed to the Muslim community in the state to support his desire to birth a new and prosperous Edo State.

According to Okpebholo, the donations, which were aimed at supporting the Muslim faithful in the state during the festive period, was a reflection of his commitment to fostering unity and inclusivity within the many diverse faiths in Edo State.

He, therefore, urged all Edo people irrespective of their faith to rally behind him to win the forthcoming September 21 governorship election in the state so that he could actualise his passion for a New Edo.

Acknowledging the significance of Eid-el-Fitr, which marks the end of Ramadan, Senator Okpebholo said it was time for all Edolites to work as one family, one people united to lift up the state by electing him to serve and build a stronger and more cohesive Edo.

Some members of the Muslim community in the Edo North senatorial district, who expressed gratitude for the timely support provided by Senator Okpebholo, reiterated the fact that Edo North is APC as APC is Edo North while praying to the Almighty God to answer tbe prayers of all Edolites so that the APC candidate will emerge as the next governor of the State.

The donation they said will alleviate some of the financial burdens faced by families during the festive period, allowing them to celebrate Eid-el-Fitr with greater comfort and joy.
