Former deputy governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (AP) in Kano State, Alhaji Murtala Sule Garo felicitated with Muslims in Nigeria especially the good people of Kano State on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr celebrations.

In a goodwill message Alhaji Murtala Sule Garo urged Muslim faithfuls to use the opportunity to foster peace and unity in Kano State and Nigeria at large.

He said, “On this occasion I wish all Muslim faithful in Nigeria, particularly the good people of Kano State happy Eid-el-Fitr celebrations.

“It is a blessing from Allah the Almighty that we have completed the month-long Ramadan fasting.

“May Allah the Almighty accept our fast and supplications and forgive our sins.

“May the spirit of Ramadan illuminate our hearts with love, peace and unity. May this special period bring you peace and prosperity. Amin.

“I sympathize with the general public on the biting economic difficulties in the country. It is noticeable that Nigerians are going through a lot. But we should not relent in our commitment to God. This is the right time to keep on praying to Allah to ease out affairs and the economic hardship.”

However, Murtala Sule Garo urged Muslims to continue to pray for peace and unity in Nigeria.
