Former Kogi State governorship candidate under the umbrella of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Dino Melaye, has joined the ongoing supremacy battle between Nigerian Afrobeat megastars Wizkid and Davido.

Melaye argued that Davido is “undoubtedly” the leader of the Nigerian music industry and most commercially successful globally.

On his X handle, he wrote: “Davido is undoubtedly the 001 in the Nigerian music industry and undoubtedly the most patronised globally.”

Wizkid and Davido were recently engaged in a fierce social media war on X.
