The Bauchi State police command has arrested one Bala Mohammed for luring and raping two girls aged 16 and 17 years in his room. All the three, suspect and victims are residents of Unguwar Mahaukata Quarters in Bauchi metropolis.
According to the Command’s Police public relations officer (PPRO), SP Ahmed Mohammed Wakil in a press statement issued on Friday, the suspect gave the two girls N500.
“On the 22nd June 2024 at about 1500hrs, one Abubakar Danladi aged 43-year-old and one Umar Ismail aged 65-year-old of Unguwan Mahaukata Bauchi, reported at A’ Divisional Police Headquarters, that one Bala Mohammed aged 67-year-old lured their daughters with ages between 26 and 17 years, both of same address into his room and had carnal knowledge of them,” he said.
In a related development, the police also arrested one Abubakar Nuhu for inhuman treatment of his, five year old Hussaini Abubakar.
