As part of its plan for a fair handling of the task, the chairman said an interactive meeting has recently been conducted with political parties and other stakeholders.

He explained that the commission has adequate funding to deliver its constitutional mandate, stressing that there will be no room for shortage of electoral materials.

Makama charged political parties and candidates to scrutinise deeply relevant sections of the constitution and electoral guidelines to play the game according to the rules.
