Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, the House of Representatives speaker, has applauded President Bola Tinubu for signing the North West Development Commission Bill into law.

On Tuesday, Tinubu signed the North West Development Commission and the South East Development Commission Bills into law after their passage and subsequent transmission by the National Assembly (NASS).

In a press statement, Musa Krishi, the president’s special adviser on media and publicity, said the president’s actions have demonstrated uttermost patriotism.

Abbas noted that President Tinubu had taken all steps to make Nigeria better, noting that the commission would bring development closer to the people of the North West geopolitical zone and address some of the challenges faced by the people, especially unemployment.

He congratulated the people of the North West and Nigerians as a whole for this historic development.
