Team Nigeria’s trio of Ese Brume, Ruth Usoro and Prestina Ochonogor have qualified for the final of the Women’s Long Jump event at the ongoing Olympic games in Paris, France.

Brume, who won a bronze medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, jumped 6.76m to book her place in the final, while Ruth Usoro and Prestina Ochonogor jumped 6.68m and 6.65m respectively to reach the final on Tuesday.

This is the first time three Nigerians will qualify for an event’s final at the Olympics.
