Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the United States, Professor Tai Balofin, has said, bad citizenship, corruption, weak institutions, and implementation of President Bola Tinubu’s policies were the major reasons for the present economic challenges in the country.

Balofin, who made this known in a statement in Abuja, appealed to Nigerians to be law-abiding and patient with President Tinubu.

He noted that weak government institutions and implementation of policies by those saddled with the responsibility of delivering democratic dividends to Nigerians even in the face of global economic challenges were responsible for the nation’s economic woes.

he APC US chairman also said Tinubu’s achievements were underreported and urged the federal government to use various platforms other than the usual method to publicise its achievements regularly.

He said: “The APC as a party should also adopt the method of advocacy using its internal mechanism and Press Corp to always showcase the administration’s achievements to Nigerians regularly while urging it not to always wait for a crisis situation before coming out to talk to Nigerians.”

Balofin, however, urged the youths and Nigerians to believe and have faith in the country, especially with President Tinubu’s reforms aimed at uplifting the lives of ordinary people and every Nigerian.
