Kachalla, who is currently pursuing another master’s degree in Transitional Security from the University of Maiduguri, is well known for his exceptional leadership capabilities, having served as the Corps Liaison Officer during his NYSC service year and was the Secretary of the Youth Wing 2023 Campaign Council for Yobe North. Additionally, he has led various political groups and holds the traditional title Sardaunan Matasan Alanjirori, conferred by his Royal House. As a mentor to students and young people in his constituency, Kachalla’s unwavering commitment to nation-building is a beacon of hope for the future.

Speaking on this significant achievement, Kachalla passionately emphasized the crucial importance of youth involvement in leadership roles. “My appointment as a governing council member of a federal tertiary institution indicates that young people have the ability and competence to lead. This opportunity allows me to showcase the power of young minds and promote the best interests of Nigerian students on a global scale,” Kachalla stated.

He extended his heartfelt appreciation to the administration led by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, noting that this appointment is a clear demonstration of the administration’s commitment to inclusivity and empowering young leaders.

“I am thankful to the Tinubu administration for recognizing the potential of young individuals and placing them in key leadership positions. My role in the Governing Council of OAU is a testament to this commitment”.
