Nigerian Film Kaka Wins Realtime International Film Award

Nigerian film Kaka has won Best Nollywood Feature Film at the Realtime International Film Festival (RTF), UK.

The movie received August 26, 2024, prior to an initial for screening at the festival, as well as nominations in the Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best African Feature Film and Best Nollywood Feature Film.

Prior to RTF award, Kaka had won the Best Costume at the 2024 The Africa Film Festival (TAFF), USA where it was also nominated for Best Indigenous Film. And will premiere at the ongoing Kaduna International Film Festival (KADIFF), with a shot at winning Best Nollywood Film, Best Production Design. Best Lead Actor and Best Screenplay awards.

Similarly, it has been nominated in the Best Nollywood Film, Best Actress and Best Actor Nollywood awards categories at the Toronto International Nollywood Festival (TINFF) Canada.

Sharing his excitement with the film community, producer, Prince Daniel said, “For an indigenous film made in Hausa (subtitled in English) language, we can only say, so far, so rewarding. To God be all the praise.”
