55-yr-old Woman Slumps, Dies During Testimony In Lagos Church

The Lagos State Police Command has disclosed that a 55-year-old female identified as Ifeoma has reportedly died while sharing testimony during service at an undisclosed Church in the Iyana, Ejigbo area of the state.

Spokesperson of Police in the state, SP Benjamin Hundeyin disclosed this to newsmen on Wednesday in Lagos.

He remarked that the deceased’s death was reported by the zonal accountant of the church at 11:45 on Sunday.

He said, “At about 11:45 hours, one “M” of Iyana Ejigbo Lagos came to the station and reported that same day at about 08:48 hours during testimony hour in the church while service was on, one Ifeoma “F” age about 55 years old came out singing to give her testimony when suddenly she slumped.

“She was quickly rushed to a hospital nearby but was referred to the General Hospital Isolo where she was confirmed dead.”

Hundeyin added that based on the report detectives were detailed to visit the hospital with the complaint in getting to the hospital.

“We were told that the husband and family of the deceased had taken the corpse to Anambra State where she came from for burial”, he said.
