Kano Announces New Resumption Date For 2024/2025 Academic Session

The Kano State Government has approved Sunday, September 15th, 2024, as the new resumption date for all boarding public/private primary and post-primary schools in the state for the commencement of the first term for 2024/2025 academic session.

Pupils and students in day schools across the state will resume on Monday, September 16th, 2024.

This was made known in a statement signed by the Director Public Enlightenment of the State Ministry of Education, Balarabe Kiru, on Thursday.

The state’s Commissioner of Education, Alhaji Umar Doguwa had announced a postponement on Saturday, September 7th,2024 citing some urgent reasons for the postponement.

However, the statement urged parents and guardians of students to take note of the new resumption date to ensure complete compliance.
