This development was announced in a statement issued by the secretary-general and head of administration of OZOPOLF, Barr. Kingsley Ononuju.

Ochiagha Nnanna Okere, a highly committed member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Ngor Okpala, is based in Finland, where he works as a Conflict Management Expert. He hails from Ngor Okpala local government area of Imo State, Nigeria, and has garnered extensive experience in diaspora mobilisation.

Chief Okere is the convener and coordinator of the Imo Diaspora Support for Senator Hope Uzodimma, a dedicated group that has supported Senator Uzodimma’s political efforts since 2019.

In his new role as the Europe Coordinator of OZOPOLF, Chief Okere is expected to leverage his vast experience to galvanise and mobilise Owerri zone natives and allies residing across various European countries.

His leadership will be instrumental in sensitising the diaspora to OZOPOLF’s core objectives, particularly as the organisation continues to work towards the realisation of Owerri Zone’s long-standing aspiration for an Imo State Governor to emerge from the zone in 2028.

Prince Charles Amadi Charlvon, a distinguished multi-billionaire and the National Leader of OZOPOLF, recently reaffirmed the Forum’s commitment to this cause. During a well-attended sensitisation meeting held at his private residence in Achike Udenwa Estate, Owerri, Prince Amadi emphasised that the apex body is playing the critical role of the biblical John the Baptist, preparing the way for Owerri Zone to produce an illustrious and patriotic son or daughter as Governor of Imo State by 2028.

The Owerri Zone Political Leadership Forum (OZOPOLF), which draws its strength from the nine local government areas that make up the Owerri Senatorial Zone, is dedicated to championing the political, social, and economic interests of the zone.

With this strategic appointment, the leadership looks forward to enhanced engagement and advocacy efforts in Europe under the guidance of Ochiagha Nnanna Okere.
