The clubs, which include Rotary Club of Port Harcourt GRA, Rotary Club of Port Harcourt Creekview, Rotary Club of Port Harcourt Seaport and Rotary Club of Port Harcourt Urban, also renovated and commissioned the school’s library, information and communications technology (ICT) hub and a paved walkway.

Speaking with newsmen after commissioning the projects, the district governor, District 9141, Rotarian Chinedu Ikeagwuani, commended the four clubs for embarking on the projects aimed at improving literacy and education.

Ikeagwuani said: “We just commissioned classroom blocks and others.

This is one of the projects Rotarians undertake every year. We have what we call our seven areas of focus, and one of them is basic education and literacy. These happen to fall into that category of the projects we carry out every year.”
