Police Commiserates With NAF Over Death Of 5 Officers In Adamawa

The Adamawa State Police Command has commiserated with the Commander, Nigeria Air Force, 153 Base Service Group Yola on the ghastly accident that led to the death of five NAF officers.

Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state, SP Suleiman Nguroje, in a statement in Yola on Wednesday, said the tragic event has cast a pall of grief over the entire officers and men of the command.

The Adamawa Police Command said it shared in the deep pain and loss felt by the Nigerian Air Force, their families, and all associated personnel.

It described the deceased as officers that served with distinction, honour, and dedication.

The statement added that their contributions to the safety and security of the nation will not be forgotten.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the families, friends, and colleagues of the fallen officers during this period of mourning.

“We pray that God Almighty grants them the strength to endure this immense loss and may the souls of the departed rest in perfect peace,” it stated.

The Command said it stands in solidarity with NAF during this difficult time and reaffirmed its commitment to continued collaboration in ensuring the security and peace of Adamawa State and Nigeria at large.

LEADERSHIP reports that the officers died in the accident on their way to Abuja for a competition.
