KEBGIS Targets N1bn IGR In 2025

The newly established Kebbi State Geographic Information Service ( KEBGIS) has pledged to align with the present administration of governor Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu to boost Internally Generated Revenue (IGR).

General Manager,  ESV Bashiru Saidu Bakuwai made the pledge at a Press briefing held in his office at GRA Birnin Kebbi.

Bakuwai who was recently confirmed alongside other senior chief executives by Governor Nasir Idris expressed his appreciation on their behalf to the governor for this recognition and opportunity to serve the good people of Kebbi State under his guidance.

He called on other confirmed Colleagues  across the various parastatals to extend their loyalty and support to the Kaura led administration in the state.

“This is a time for all of us to work together, leveraging our individual and collective capacities to ensure the success of governor, Nasir Idris transformational leadership in Kebbi “ GM said.

On the improvement of IGR, the GM said his agency is targeting N1 billion in revenue generation in 2025 which according to him,  already has realised N25 million which showed that the target would be met up or even exceeded.

 

He noted that since he became GM of KEBGIS up to the time of his confirmation, there were series of staff meetings aimed at devising innovative strategies to improve the IGR in 2025.

 

The KEBGIS helmsman further informed the general public that his agency is responsible among other critical functions generation and issuance of certificates of occupancy for regular, recertification, regularisation and systematic property registration.
