According to Alhaji Kabir, the sponsor of the insurance scheme, the scheme costs him N6,963,240 yearly.
Speaking on the gesture, Alhaji Kabir, an APC chieftain from the Luangwa Sanusi constituency of Kaduna South local government, said he is committed to improving the living standards of the people of his constituency.

“My passion is to see how living standards can be better, and that is why I am providing an opportunity for people to access health at no cost to them. I urge the beneficiaries to embrace the program by visiting the hospitals whenever they have any health challenges and get Medicare at no cost.”

“This insurance scheme will be effective from March 2025 and last until 2027.”
Earlier, Ibrahim Alimi Muhammad from KADCHMA, while educating the beneficiaries of the insurance scheme, said that no fewer than 600,000 beneficiaries are on the scheme in the State.
