UDUTH Records First Successful Kidney Transplant

The Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital (UDUTH), Sokoto has successfully carried out its first kidney transplant.

The groundbreaking procedure was performed by a team of highly skilled medical professionals, marking a significant milestone in the hospital’s commitment to advancing medical services in Nigeria.

Sources within UDUTH confirmed that both the donor and recipient are in stable condition and responding well to post-operative care.
