A popular UK-based football coach, Edison Teberen, who is the founder of Pele Football Academy in Lagos, has officially disclosed his plans of raising football stars in his native Lagos State.

He disclosed this via his official Instagram page.

According to him, football has always been at the heart of Nigerian sports, producing world-class players who have graced the biggest stages globally.

He went on to say that with the establishment of Pele Football Academy, the future of Nigerian football looks even brighter, detailing his vision for Nigerian football.

“My vision for Pele Football Academy is to create a platform where young, aspiring footballers can receive top-tier training, education, and career opportunities in football, both locally and internationally.

“Unlike many local academies, Pele Football Academy in Lagos stands out with state-of-the-art training facilities that match international standards.”

With a focus on technical ability, tactical intelligence, and personal discipline, the academy is designed to produce well-rounded players capable of competing at the highest level.

My commitment to Nigerian football is clear: to build an academy that doesn’t just produce great players but also great individuals. With UK-standard facilities, expert coaching, and international connections, Pele Football Academy is set to revolutionise football development in Nigeria,” Edison added.
