A renowned obstetrician and gynaecologist, Dr Sunday Onuh, has vehemently denied claims made in an online publication that linked him to an unauthorised interview regarding his practice.

In a rebuttal issued to the public, Dr Onuh called the report misleading and clarified that he had not consented to any such interview.

He strongly emphasised his commitment to ethical standards and patient care, and he urged the public to disregard the false narrative, reaffirming that patients are free to choose from a wide range of qualified medical professionals in Nigeria.

He said, “My attention has been drawn to a publication circulating online captioned “Revealed! Abuja gynaecologist celebrities rush to the story of Dr Sunday Onuh of Deda Hospital and the patient’s experience”.

“I wish to inform the general public that I did not in any way give consent to such publication. Neither am I privy to such publication.

“I never had an interview with any media house regarding such a publication. I am a practising obstetrician and gynaecologist, fully aware of the code of conduct guiding our noble profession. Patients are at will to visit and consult with any doctor of their choice as there are countless qualified doctors in Nigeria,” he said.
