The Borno South Stakeholders Forum,a group working for the advancement of the southern Senatorial Zone and realization of Savannah State out of the present Borno State paid a courtesy and advocacy visit to legendary former Chief of Army Staff and Minister of Defense, General Theophilus Yakubu( TY)Danjuma,GCON at his Asokoro,Abuja residence.

The delegation was led by His Excellency General Tukur Yusuf( TY) Buratai,CFR former Chief of Army Staff and Ambassador.
The delegation was warmly received by General Danjuma who just flew in from Lagos.The General,a renowned philanthropist was the pioneer Chairman of the Victims Support Fund which metamorphosed into the North East Development Commission and is familiar with the issues on ground.He encouraged the delegation and pledged his support for their aspirations.

The delegation included the Director General of the Forum Mr Ishaya Malgwi a retired federal civil servant,Dr Bitrus Pogu, president of the Middle Belt Forum, renowned educationist and pioneer Registrar of the Teachers Registration Council,Mr Anjikwi Musa Ciwar,OON who is also the Ubandoma of Biu,a retired DCG and philanthropist Mr Filibus Bitrus,Maj.Gen. Abdulmalik Bulama Biu( RTD),Engr.Tabitha Mshelbwala,a retired Director of FIRS,Dr.Shettima Ngiladar, a retired Director of NEC,Yusuf Gwamna Mshelizza,Writer and Editor of the North East Limelight Magazine who handles media issues for the Forum and Alhaji Irama Abubakar Holma,a retired Director of CBN ,who joined the delegation later.
