Festrut Group of Companies, a real estate and construction firm, has reaffirmed its commitment to providing affordable housing solutions for low-income earners in Nigeria.

The organisation made this pledge during its 15th-anniversary celebration, highlighting its dedication to making homeownership accessible to all.

Speaking at the event in Abuja, Festrut Group of Companies chief executive officer (CEO) Prof. Festus Uwakhemen emphasised the company’s vision of ensuring that Nigerians, regardless of income level, have access to decent and affordable homes.

“Housing is a fundamental necessity, yet many Nigerians struggle to afford it. At Festrut, we are committed to bridging this gap by developing quality, low-cost housing solutions,” he said. “Our goal is to create opportunities for individuals and families to own homes without financial strain.”

The managing director, Shola Peters, also echoed this sentiment, outlining the company’s strategic approach to achieving its vision.

She revealed that Festrut has embarked on several large-scale housing projects, including a 700-plot residential estate in Orozo, Nasarawa State, explicitly designed for low-income earners.

“We recognise the challenges in the housing sector, especially for those with limited financial capacity.

That’s why we are working closely with mortgage banks and other stakeholders to provide flexible payment plans that make homeownership possible for more Nigerians,” she said.

Similarly, Festrut’s chief operations manager, Joseph Akpezi, highlighted the company’s expansion plans, including the launch of affordable housing projects in Lagos, Port Harcourt, and Edo State.
He stressed that the company’s mission is “Shelter for All.”

“The demand for affordable housing is growing, and we are determined to meet this need. We are not just building houses; we are creating sustainable communities where families can thrive,” he added.

Akpezi further stated that Festrut is exploring partnerships with federal and private mortgage banks to introduce low-interest housing loans and flexible mortgage options, ensuring that even those with modest incomes can achieve their dream of owning a home.

With ongoing projects and an ambitious roadmap for expansion, Festrut Group continues solidifying its reputation as a trusted leader in Nigeria’s real estate sector. It offers hope and opportunities for individuals seeking affordable housing solutions.
