In a statement released yesterday to mark Tinubu’s 73rd birthday, the party’s leader and 2023 governorship candidate, Dr Emem Coffie, lauded the president’s commitment to national renewal and democratic governance.

“President Tinubu’s leadership serves as a guiding light for many Nigerians. His dedication to democracy and nation-building is evident in his efforts to foster development and unity across the country. Your exemplary leadership, commitment to national renewal, and dedication to democratic governance continue to inspire millions,” Coffie stated.

“Your visionary economic and infrastructural reforms reaffirm your resolve to reposition Nigeria for sustainable growth and global relevance.”

Reflecting on the political journey that led to Tinubu’s electoral victory in 2023, Coffie expressed appreciation for past engagements with Senator Godswill Akpabio, noting that these interactions influenced the Accord Party’s decision to support Tinubu’s candidacy in Akwa Ibom.

“Today, our confidence in your leadership stands justified as we witness your administration’s many strides,” the statement continued.

Dr Coffie also offered prayers for the Nigerian leader, wishing him strength, wisdom, and good health.
