The event, hosted by the Department of Marketing and Communication at BU, marked the 7th edition of its “Cultivating Excellence in Youth” programme at the Amphitheatre, held both physically and virtually.
Guest speaker, Prof. Awoyemi Lawal-Arolowo, emphasised the importance of resilience, adaptability, innovation, and self-belief.

“Remember, whatever you believe you can achieve, you can,” she encouraged participants.
Prof. Olugbenga Idowu, Associate Vice President of ITCT, representing the Senior Vice President, Management Services, Prof. Yacob Haliso, urged students to strive for excellence while highlighting their vital role in society.

The event featured student debates, fostering critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication. Babcock Academy emerged as the winner, with Joy Cometh Schools, Ikorodu, and Adeola Odutola College, Ijebu-Ode, securing second and third positions, respectively.
