The Gunners travelled to Portman Road 13 points behind the Premier League leaders.

Mikel Arteta’s men raced into a two-goal lead in the first half, to take full control of the game.

Leandro Trossard squeezed in a low cross that trickled in from Bukayo Saka before Gabriel Martinelli ghosted in at the back post to double Arsenal’s lead.

The hosts were reduced to 10 men before the break, as Leif Davis saw red for a tackle on Saka.
