In an interview with journalists on the crisis rocking the community, Hon Oforbuike described the killing as sad and unfortunate, adding that those who masterminded the attack are those who are doing so for selfish political interest.

He noted that the leadership crisis in the community has since been resolved by some stakeholders of the area and the traditional ruler of the community but expressed the regret that despite the amicable resolution of the dispute, some persons still went ahead to attack those they perceived as enemies.

The lawmaker commended the Nigeria Police for the arrest of about 11 persons who are instigating the crisis in the community adding that those who are still at large should also be arrested to ensure that peace returns to the community.

He also commended the traditional ruler of the community Eze Isaiah Otubo for his peaceful disposition and accommodating spirit.
