Following the Police siege on the Wadata Plaza national secretariat of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Monday, the party’s Board of Trustees (BoT) has changed the venue of its scheduled meeting to Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre in Abuja.

“The Meeting of the Board of Trustees (BoT) Meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), earlier scheduled to hold by 10Am at the Party’s National Secretariat in Abuja has been moved to Yar’Adua Center, Central Business District, Abuja. All BOT members are by this notice advised to proceed to the new venue,” a notice sighted by LEADERSHIP read on Monday.

LEADERSHIP gathered that Police operatives had swooped on the PDP national headquarters in Abuja to stop the planned meeting of the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC), which was expected to finally decide on who to occupy the office of national secretary of PDP.
