Group Applauds Faleke For Fighting Insecurity In Kogi

Arewa Think Tank (ATT) has applauded the member representing Ikeja federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, for his uncommon commitment to the security and well-being of the people of his home state, Kogi.

Recall that Hon. Faleke recently donated a brand-new Hilux patrol vehicle to support the operations of the newly commissioned Smart Police Divisional Headquarters in Ekinrin-Adde, Ijumu local government area of Kogi State.

According to a statement issued by the convener of ATT, Muhammad Alhaji Yakubu, the high-tech vehicle was facilitated by the Nigeria Police Trust Fund in collaboration with the government of Kogi State to ensure security at every corner of the state by modernising and digitising security operations in the state.

Yakubu said Faleke is a  patriotic Kogite who leads by example, and urged sons and daughters of Kogi State to emulate the lawmaker.

“Faleke, an indigene of Kogi State, recently donated a brand-new Hilux patrol vehicle to support the operations of the newly commissioned Smart Police Divisional Headquarters in Ekinrin-Adde, Ijumu Local Government Area of the State.

“The high-tech facility was facilitated by the Nigeria Police Trust Funds in its collaboration with the government of Kogi State to ensure security at every corner of the state by modernizing and digitizing security operations in the State.

“We therefore commend Hon. Faleke for placing  security above politics and people’s well-being above personal ambition.”

The convener further said, there is no doubt that Faleke had played key underground roles in coordinating with security agencies, working quietly but effectively with the state government to ensure lives and property are better protected in Kogi State.

He expressed confidence that Faleke’s latest intervention would significantly strengthen security not only in Ijumu local government area, but across Okunland, Kogi West, and the entire State. He said this is how to make an impact without playing to the gallery, adding that what the people need are verifiable dividends of democracy and interventions that can save lives, not selfish personal interests at the expense of the people.
