Wilfred Ndidi has expressed his excitement after arriving in Istanbul to finalise a permanent transfer to Besiktas.

The Nigerian international arrived in Istanbul on Wednesday night to undergo mandatory medical tests at Besiktas. Ndidi’s transfer to the Black Eagles is expected to be made official on Thursday, with the 28-year-old set to sign a three-year contract with an option for an additional year.
He is joining Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s side from Sky Bet Championship club Leicester City and hopes to bring further success to the club.

“It’s really amazing; this is my second time in Turkey. I feel really great; joining Besiktas is truly exciting for me,” he told the club’s official website.
