Super Falcons WAFCON-winning coach Justin Madugu and goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie have been shortlisted for the 2025 Ballon d’Or awards.

Justin Madugu has been nominated for the prestigious 2025 Ballon d’Or Women’s Team Coach of the Year Trophy, while Chiamaka Nnadozie is in contention for the 2025 Ballon d’Or Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year.

The nomination, announced on Thursday, places Madugu among the elite of women’s football coaching globally, following his remarkable leadership of the Nigerian women’s national team. This accolade celebrates coaches who have demonstrated outstanding strategy, motivation, and performance in guiding their teams on the international stage.

Nnadozie’s nomination follows a standout year for both club and country, adding to the long list of honours the Super Falcons have received since their WAFCON triumph.
