Kwara State government, through the Ministry of Social Development, has donated infant formula and diapers to a month-old set of triplets whose mother died a few days after their birth in Ilorin, the state capital.

Presenting the items to the caregivers at Bawa, Sabo-Line, the family house of the babies,

The commissioner for Social Development, Dr Mariam Nnafatima Imam, presented the items to the caregivers at Bawa, Sabo-Line, the babies’ family house.

She said the donation was to bring relief to the triplets’ family and caregivers.

The imam said the gesture reflected the state government’s commitment to supporting vulnerable people and promoting acts of kindness and generosity.

She stressed that the state government is passionate about the welfare of the citizens and that her ministry would not renege on its mandate of assisting the less privileged in the state.

Imam emphasised the ministry’s passion for philanthropy and dedication to helping the less privileged, appealing to the caregivers to ensure the triplets under their care are taken for their scheduled immunisations to keep them up to date on all vaccines.
